Gautami H Shinde

With a strong focus on restoring function and improving oral health, she is committed to providing care that makes a lasting difference to her patients’ quality of life. Coming from a family of healthcare professionals, Gautami was inspired by her mother, who is also a dentist, and knew from an early age that she wanted to follow the same path.

Gautami holds a master’s degree in periodontology, a speciality of dentistry focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and supporting bone. She believes that healthy gums and stable supporting bone are essential for maintaining long term oral health. Her approach is centred on building trust, understanding each patient’s concerns and motivations, and delivering care with empathy and respect, just as she would for a member of her own family.
